A shuttle will be running from the Fred Meyer and parking lot to the Crawfish Festival continuously from 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM on Saturday, August 10th. You may also park at the WES lot (Haggens). View the map for all of the public parking lots for the festival. All colored lots are available, free of charge. Parking is not available within Tualatin Community Park
Description of Activities & Events from 7:30AM – 10:00PM
Pancake Breakfast – Before the parade be sure to come down to the lake for a great breakfast to start your day. Hearty breakfast prepared by Village Inn featuring pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and beverages. Adults $4.00, Children 6-10 years $2.00, Children 5 and under $1.00.
Crawfish Crawl – The Crawfish Crawl is a 5K race/walk that starts and ends at the Tualatin Commons. This years run will take advantage of the Ki-A-Kuts Pedestrian Bridge that connects the Tualatin Community Park to Cook Park in Tigard. Registration....coming soon.

Entry Size Requirements: Parade entries can be any length. However, keep in mind that there are overhead wires, so entries should not be over 16 feet high.
Judging: Judging begins promptly at 8:30 am. Your entry should be checked-in and ready to go at this time. Entries arriving after 8:30 am will not be judged.
Parade Awards: Judges will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons to parade entries in the following categories: Autos, Bike Riders, Dance/Drill Teams, Floats, Horses, Novelty, Mascots and Youth Organizations. All entries are eligible for the “Best Use of Theme” trophy. The 2010 theme is “Viva Claws Vegas” Each entry (including group entries) will only be eligible to win one award. If you don’t see a category for your entry, please suggest one on your entry form.
Registration/Check-In: The registration table will be open beginning at 8:00 am. Each entry MUST check in to receive your number. Entries wanting to be judged should check in between 8:00 – 8:30 am. Non-judged entries should wait until after 8:30 am to check in. Group entries need only have one person check in for the entire group. All entries MUST check in by 9:00 am. Parade formation begins at 9:00 am promptly. Please be in place and ready to go (decorations in place, costumes on, signs on cars, etc.) with your parade entry by 9:00 am or you may lose your place in the formation.
Remote Control Boat Demonstration – Radio control boat modelers from California to Vancouver, British Columbia will be displaying and sailing scale model boats for fun, and in competition, from 9am till 10pm.
Participating Clubs include Rose City Model Yacht Club, Oregon Model Yacht Club, San Francisco Model Yacht club, Burnaby Association of Model Mariners, Spokane Model Yacht Club, Shelton Scale Ship Modelers, Queen’s Own Combat Warship Club, and the Northwest R/C Ship Modelers, Seattle. Atsa My Dawg Show — Enter your dog and you could go home with some great prizes for best-costumed (Elvis style) dog, best-dog trick, and more! Petco will also offer demonstrations on grooming and training in the Petco Tent.
Canine Demo - Officers from the Tigard k-9 unit will give a presentation about how K-9s are chosen, trained, and how they work. The officers and K-9 teams will demonstrate some of their skills. The handlers will greet audience members and answer questions following their demo.
Skateboard Competition – The Tualatin Crawfish Festival is proud to present a Trick Skating event for the youth in our town. Tilly’s has provided us with demonstrations on Saturday and will be hosting a wonderful Skateboard Trick Competition complete with awesome 1st through 6th Tilly’s gift card prizes! Everyone present will receive Tilly’s Swag! The skate park is located within the festival grounds at Tualatin Community Park.
Kids Zone – The Kid Zone has a new twist this year with a wide variety of activities and entertainment for the younger set all under one tent across from the main stage. Activities planned for this year will include arts & crafts, games, inflatable bouncy houses and more.
Adult Crawfish Eating Contest - You have to see this contest to believe it! How many crawfish do you think a person can eat (tail & claws) in 15 minutes? The festival record set in 1970 is a whopping 170! Only ten people can pre-register. Any remaining slots will be available for signup at the information booth on Saturday morning before 11:00 am.
Registration for this event fills quickly so if you think you have what it takes to be the next Crawfish Eating Champion, downoad a registration form! Cost is $15.00 per adult contestant. Must be at least 16 years old. Under 18, parents must sign the waiver.

Crawdad Stage – This stage will feature family entertainment including demonstrations by local dance schools and live music acts.

Food Vendors – Crawfish may be the best, but isn’t the only thing to eat. Tempt your taste buds with a variety of foods provided by both commercial and non-profit vendors.
Live Crawfish Boil spiced and cooked to perfection by the Wooden Nickel. Served with baby Cajun red potatoes and corn on the cob!
Marketplace Vendors – Browse a variety of vendors offering a diverse selection of goods and services to meet every taste and budget.
Centennial Celebration with Birthday Cake starting at 7:15 pm

Sunday, August 11th
Sizzling Summer Car & Hot Rod Show at the Tualatin Haggen Parking Lot – This will be the 8th year for this show and last year we drew 150 entrants. The day starts with car registration at 9 AM and ends with trophy presentation at 2:30 PM. There will be adult and children’s raffle prizes, a silent auction, DJ music, and a benefit breakfast and lunch hosted by the Haggen store with donations to benefit Make-A-Wish. ALL proceeds from this show go to the Foundation and it has raised over $15,000 the last four years.
